Honda has unveiled the Elevate SUV globally, marking its entry into the compact SUV segment and posing as a competitor to the Hyundai Creta in India. Produced in India, the SUV will also be exported to global markets. It adopts the same petrol powertrain as the Honda City, without the expected hybrid solid powertrain.

Sporty and robust characteristics are emphasized through flared, almost-square-wheel arches and thick plastic cladding.
The rear boasts a distinctive tailgate design, LED taillamps, and a newly designed rear bumper. Inside, the cabin features a dual-tone theme with beige upholstery.
The dashboard’s centre showcases a tall-standing 10.25-inch infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, complemented by a seven-inch digital driver’s display. Additionally, it includes a single-pane sunroof.

Core Features:

At its core, the Honda Elevate houses a 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine, generating 119bhp and 145 Nm of torque.
It is mated to a six-speed manual or a CVT unit. Furthermore, Honda has confirmed plans to launch an all-electric SUV based on the Elevate within the next three years.
Variants and colour options for the Elevate are yet to be disclosed.
Safety ratings for the mid-size SUV have not been evaluated.

Hence, the Honda Elevate will be a great family car, but since many want to know, it is not an electric car. There will be a petrol fuel option available in India.
